Begin your journey at Lot Mashiane Secondary School — enrolment information and application guidance
Lot Mashiane Secondary School welcomes learners from the Letlhakaneng community and surrounding areas. As a Quintile 1 no-fee public school, we are committed to making quality education accessible to all.
Open Enrolment
We accept applications for Grades 8 through 12 during the official Department of Basic Education admissions period, typically from May to July each year. Late applications may be considered subject to available space.
As a no-fee school, there are no tuition charges for any learner. Our school receives state funding to cover operational costs, ensuring that financial constraints are never a barrier to education.
Our admissions team is here to guide you through every step of the process. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Collect an application form from the school's administration office during business hours (Mon–Fri, 07:30–15:00), or request one via email.
Complete the form and submit it along with the required documents: certified copy of birth certificate, most recent school report, parent/guardian ID copy, and proof of residence.
The parent/guardian and learner may be invited for a brief orientation meeting with the admissions committee to discuss the learner's needs and goals.
Successful applicants will receive a written acceptance letter with details about orientation, uniform requirements, and the school calendar.
As a Quintile 1 school, no tuition fees are charged. The school is fully funded by the Department of Basic Education.
