A comprehensive, CAPS-aligned curriculum designed to unlock every learner's potential
Lot Mashiane Secondary School follows the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) as prescribed by the South African Department of Basic Education, offering a comprehensive programme from Grade 8 through Grade 12.
CAPS Aligned
Our academic programme is structured around the CAPS framework, ensuring that all learners meet the national assessment standards while also developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills that extend beyond the classroom.
In the Further Education and Training Phase (Grades 10–12), learners choose from multiple subject streams, allowing them to tailor their education to their interests and career aspirations. Our dedicated educators provide individualised support to help each learner achieve their best possible results in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
We are proud of our consistently strong matric results, which reflect the hard work of our learners and the commitment of our teaching staff.
