Who We Are

A Legacy of Learning in Bojanala

Lot Mashiane Secondary School is a public comprehensive secondary school situated in the vibrant community of Letlhakaneng, near Brits, in the Bojanala District of the North West Province, South Africa. Established in 1993, our school was named in honour of a revered local community leader who championed the cause of education and youth empowerment in the region.

For over three decades, we have been a cornerstone of educational opportunity in the Bojanala District, serving learners from Letlhakaneng, Jericho, and surrounding areas. As a Quintile 1 no-fee school under Section 21 of the South African Schools Act, we are committed to ensuring that quality education is accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances.

Today, our school proudly serves 838 learners under the guidance of 26 dedicated educators, maintaining a learner-to-educator ratio that allows for meaningful individual attention and support.
